Alexandre Bonnet is based in Les Riceys in the Côte des Bar, a southern pocket of Champagne better known for Pinot Noir, but here also producing finely detailed Chardonnay from Kimmeridgian soils. The focus is on estate-grown fruit and a more expressive, terroir-led style.

Their Blanc de Blancs offers a brighter, more linear counterpoint. Lemon zest, green apple and white flowers lead, with hints of chalk, almond and fresh pastry. The palate is crisp and finely textured, with a gentle creaminess from the lees balanced by a tight mineral line. Clean, precise and quietly complex—an elegant take on Chardonnay from an unexpected corner of Champagne.
