Villa Job
Villa Job began when Alessandro Job left his life as an engineer in Milan to take over family vineyards on the Friuli Pozzuolo plateau. Together with his partner Lavinia, he has built a deeply thoughtful, biodynamic farm spanning 8 hectares of vines, alongside polyculture and beekeeping.
The site—known as “i Colli o Terrazzi”—is a mosaic of sand, silt, clay, sandstone and marl, bringing both texture and energy to the wines. Farming is respectful and low-impact, with only local varieties planted, wild fermentations, low sulphur and no fining or filtration.
The wines are distinctive and expressive: whites range from bright, citrus-driven to deeply amber and textural, while the reds offer lifted, spice-laced expressions of Refosco and Schioppettino.
A project rooted in place and philosophy—where each bottle carries both character and culture.
