Perched at 500m in the hills of Emilia, TerraQuilia’s vineyards are sheltered by the Castello di Guiglia and cooled by breezes from the Panaro River. Vines root into a mix of clay, sand and silt, planted to Lambrusco Grasparossa, Pignoletto, Malbo Gentile and even a rare local clone of Verdicchio.

Founded in 2004, the estate quickly found its stride with traditional, bottle-refermented sparkling wines—raw, energetic and full of personality.

Today, TerraQuilia focuses on col fondo and metodo ancestrale styles, producing wines that are vibrant, expressive and unmistakably of their place. A small but important voice in Emilia-Romagna’s evolving wine landscape.
