Domaine Ventoura, based in Fontenay just north of Chablis, marks the evolution of a long-standing family farming operation into a focused, estate-driven domaine (since 2014).

The estate farms 11 hectares across Petit Chablis, Chablis and 1er Cru Fourchaume, with additional fruit from trusted growers in Mont de Milieu and Grand Cru Les Preuses. All vineyards are certified organic as of 2023.

Old vines (25–40 years), wild fermentations and a restrained approach to élevage define the style—stainless steel for the Petit and AC, with a considered use of older oak for the top cuvées to build texture without sacrificing precision.

The 2023 vintage may have been warm, but the wines remain taut and composed. This is classic Chablis: saline, stony and mineral, with clarity and drive over fruit weight.
