Champagne Alexandre Bonnet
Domaine Alexandre Bonnet is based in Les Riceys in the Côte des Bar—the southernmost part of Champagne, closer to Burgundy and known for its Pinot Noir–driven, terroir-focused wines.
The family’s roots here date back to 1934, with the estate established in 1970. Les Riceys is unique as the only village in Champagne permitted to produce three AOCs: Champagne, Coteaux Champenois and Rosé des Riceys—reflecting the region’s strong dual Champagne–Burgundy identity.
Vineyards sit on Kimmeridgian limestone and clay, lending tension, salinity and structure. Pinot Noir is central, and the approach in the cellar is site-driven, with plot-by-plot vinification, restrained dosage and a focus on clarity and minerality.
The result is a more vinous, structured style of Champagne—firmly rooted in place and built as much for the table as the aperitif.
