In the early 2010s, architect Massimo Palmieri left Milan with his family to settle in San Marcello, just inland from the Adriatic. Drawn back to the land by his grandfather’s winemaking roots, he set about building a small, deeply personal project.

Today he biodynamically farms just under 4 hectares of Verdicchio and Lacrima di Morro d’Alba at around 290m elevation. Work is almost entirely by hand, with wild fermentations, no adjustments and sulphur used only at bottling as needed.

A growing focus on qvevri sees some wines raised underground, enhancing texture and connection to site, while staggered harvests bring nuance across cuvées.

The wines are vibrant, layered and full of life—capturing the energy of this Adriatic hillside with clarity and intent.
