Eremo di Sant’Iconio is a small, quality-focused estate in Palinuro on the Cilento coast of southern Campania—an area better known for its beaches, but increasingly recognised for its wine potential.

Led by Milan-based sommelier Fabio Labruna, the project centres on a fresher, more coastal expression of Aglianico. Proximity to the Tyrrhenian Sea brings cooling breezes and natural lift, giving the wines a brighter, more saline profile than inland examples.

Farming is Demeter-certified biodynamic, with a minimal-intervention approach in the cellar—wild ferments, mostly stainless steel or old vessels, and low sulphur.

The result is Aglianico with energy and drinkability—sun-kissed, but vibrant and precise.
