BK Wines is the project of Brendon and Kirsty Keys, established in the Adelaide Hills in 2007. Based in Basket Range, Brendon has built a reputation for thoughtful, minimal-intervention winemaking and a willingness to challenge conventional styles. His wines are full of character, with freshness, texture and individuality at their heart.

Saignée is 100% Pinot Noir, made by drawing juice from the skins during fermentation. Sitting somewhere between a rosé and a very light red, it's a beautifully savoury take on the style. Wild strawberry, cranberry and red grapefruit are joined by rose petal, gentle spice and a touch of dried herbs. Juicy and vibrant, with lovely texture, refreshing acidity and just enough tannin to give the wine some shape. Dry, savoury and full of personality, it's particularly good served chilled.
