ICARO is the project of four friends, Rocco Caroselli, Luca Di Marzio, Gianmarco Diorio and Fabio Gentile, working to revive the winemaking traditions of the Castelli Romani, south of Rome. Farming organically on volcanic soils, they champion indigenous varieties, spontaneous fermentation and minimal intervention, producing wines that reflect the distinctive character of Lazio.

Nemico blends Malvasia di Candia and Trebbiano from vineyards around Velletri. Brief skin contact brings gentle texture to a fragrant wine of ripe peach, mandarin and citrus blossom, layered with fresh herbs and subtle spice. Bright and expressive, the palate combines aromatic richness with refreshing acidity and a delicate mineral character, finishing dry, savoury and persistent.
