Battles Wine is the project of winemaker Lance Parkin and sommelier Kris Ambrozkiewicz, built around tiny-production wines with a strong focus on vineyard provenance and detail. Drawing fruit from sites across Western Australia, the wines balance precision with quiet personality.

One Armed Scissor Chardonnay brings together fruit from Yallingup, Burnside and the cooler southern reaches of Denmark, adding greater lift and dimension to the blend. Wild fermented with partial malolactic influence and matured in 30% new oak, it layers grapefruit peel, white peach and struck flint over a saline, gently phenolic finish. Richness and texture are present, though always carried by freshness and restraint.
