2024 Nuzzella 'Etman' Bianco

Nuzzella is a small family estate established in 2014 by Nicola Oteri on the northeastern slopes of Mount Etna, near Piedimonte Etneo. Farming organically on volcanic soils formed by successive lava flows, the estate focuses on indigenous Sicilian varieties and traditional, low-intervention winemaking. Its wines reflect the distinctive combination of altitude, volcanic geology and Mediterranean influence that defines Etna.

Etman blends Carricante and Catarratto from vineyards at approximately 550 metres elevation. Brief skin contact brings subtle texture to a wine defined by citrus, white peach, lemon blossom and Mediterranean herbs. Bright acidity and a pronounced saline mineral character provide tension and precision, carrying the palate through a long, dry and savoury finish.
