Domaine Les Astrelles is an exciting new name in Burgundy, based in Gevrey-Chambertin and led by winemaker Julien Millet. Having previously worked at the celebrated Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé in Chambolle-Musigny, Julien brings considerable experience and a thoughtful approach to vineyard management and winemaking. His wines capture the elegance and individuality of the Côte de Nuits, with purity of fruit and a gentle approach in the cellar.

Les Maladières is 100% Pinot Noir from a small vineyard near Chambolle-Musigny. Red cherry and wild raspberry are joined by violet, rose petal, gentle spice and a subtle earthy character. There's lovely depth to the fruit, balanced by bright acidity and fine, silky tannins. Fragrant and beautifully composed, with a delicate mineral edge and a long, savoury finish. A wonderfully expressive introduction to the domaine's Burgundy.
