Domaine Les Astrelles is an exciting new name in Burgundy, based in Gevrey-Chambertin and led by winemaker Julien Millet. Having previously worked at the celebrated Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé in Chambolle-Musigny, Julien brings considerable experience and a thoughtful approach to vineyard management and winemaking. His wines capture the elegance and individuality of the Côte de Nuits, with purity of fruit and a gentle approach in the cellar.

Les Lares is 100% Aligoté from mature vines grown on the limestone-rich slopes of Curtil-Vergy. Lemon zest, green apple and white peach are joined by delicate florals, fresh herbs and a subtle toasted almond note. There's lovely texture and depth from extended ageing, balanced by lively acidity and a chalky mineral edge. Bright, energetic and beautifully composed, with a long, citrus-driven finish that shows just how compelling Aligoté can be.
