2022 Domaine Les Astrelles Gevrey Chambertin 'Creaux Brouillard'

Domaine Les Astrelles is a relatively new name in Gevrey-Chambertin, with winemaker Julien Millet bringing experience from Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé. Working organically and with a gentle hand in the cellar, the focus is on precise, site-driven Burgundy with purity, freshness and finesse.

Creux Brouillard comes from five small parcels of old-vine Pinot Noir on clay-limestone soils. Red cherry and raspberry are layered with violets, subtle spice and gentle earthy notes. The palate is supple and beautifully composed, with fine tannins and fresh acidity carrying the wine through a long, mineral finish.
