Comando G is the project of Fernando García and Dani Landi, two winemakers who have helped redefine Garnacha in the Sierra de Gredos. Working with old vines at extreme altitude and a thoughtful, low-intervention approach, their wines are defined by perfume, freshness and the remarkable mineral character of the region’s granitic soils.

La Breña 1er Cru comes from old-vine Garnacha around Villanueva de Ávila, grown at over 1,000 metres elevation. Wild raspberry, blackberry and plum are layered with violets, dried herbs, bitter citrus and subtle spice. Fine, sandy tannins give the palate beautiful structure, while bright acidity and a distinctly saline, granitic edge bring freshness and precision. Perfumed, elegant and quietly powerful, it’s a wonderfully detailed expression of high-altitude Garnacha.
