Cellier de la Baraterie is the small organic estate of Julien Viana, based in Cruet at the foot of the Bauges mountains in Savoie. Working with native alpine varieties and a light touch in the cellar, Julien produces pure, energetic wines that capture the freshness and mineral character of the region.

Roussette de Savoie is 100% Altesse, a traditional white variety of Savoie, grown on clay-limestone soils at the foot of Château de la Rive. Ripe pear and fresh quince are layered with white flowers, almond and gentle spice. The palate is supple and finely textured, with alpine freshness and a subtle mineral edge carrying through a long, persistent finish.
