Ognostro is the small Campanian project of Marco Tinessa, focused on old-vine Aglianico from the hills around Taurasi. Farming organically and avoiding oak, Marco works with a minimal-intervention approach to produce deeply expressive wines that balance Aglianico’s natural power with freshness and purity.
Rosso is 100% Aglianico from old vines around Montemarano and Castelfranci. Blackberry, dark cherry and plum are layered with citrus peel, pepper, dried herbs and earthy spice. Deep and concentrated, firm savoury tannins and bright acidity keep the palate fresh and energetic through a long, mineral finish.
