2021 Nuzzella Blanc de Noirs Etna Spumante DOC

Nuzzella is a small family estate established in 2014 by Nicola Oteri on the northeastern slopes of Mount Etna. Farming organically on ancient volcanic soils, the estate focuses on indigenous Sicilian varieties and traditional, low-intervention winemaking. Its wines reflect the distinctive combination of altitude, volcanic geology and Mediterranean influence that defines Etna.

Blanc de Noirs is 100% Nerello Mascalese, produced using the traditional method with extended ageing on lees. A fine, persistent bead carries citrus peel, white peach and delicate florals, layered with brioche, toasted almond and subtle herbal notes. The palate is precise and finely textured, with vibrant acidity and pronounced saline minerality providing tension and length. Elegant and complex, the wine finishes dry, savoury and remarkably persistent.
