Famille Dutraive was established in 2016 by Jean-Louis Dutraive and his children, Justin, Ophélie and Lucas, as an extension of the family's celebrated Domaine de la Grand'Cour in Fleurie. Working with carefully selected, organically farmed vineyards across Beaujolais, they maintain the same philosophy of whole-bunch fermentation, minimal intervention and a precise expression of individual terroirs.

Clos du Chapitre comes from 50-year-old Gamay vines rooted in the ancient, stony alluvial soils of eastern Saint-Amour. Red cherry and raspberry are layered with violet, dried rose, gentle spice and subtle earthy notes. Fragrant and finely structured, the palate combines supple tannins with vibrant acidity and a delicate mineral character. The cooler 2021 vintage brings elegance and restraint, carrying the wine through a long, savoury and persistent finish.
