2022 Garganuda 'Etichetta Bianco' Soave Veneto, Italy
Garganuda is an immensely exciting project by Stefano Menti, the widely respected Veneto vigneron, and his brother-in-law, Andrea Fiorini Carbognin. Together they produce three wines: a Soave, a Valpolicella and this curio.
This is wonderfully fresh and textural garganega that has a slightly cloudy hue as its neither fined nor filtered. Can be slurped relentlessly at the house party or deeply pondered over dinner.
2023 Sette 'Questo e il Vino Rosso' 1L Piedmont, Italy
Sette is a splendid vineyard in Nizza, Monferrato, with five and a half hectares of vines aged between 20 and 75 years old. Purchased in 2017 by friends Gianluca Colombo and Gino Della Porta, they set about converting the property to organic farming immediately. Whilst a great array of fruit trees can be found throughout the vineyard, commitment has been made to plant more than 40 old tree varieties of local fruit and tall trees per year.
Comprised of the young vine material from the Sette Vineyard, these grapes spend their adolescence partying with us before they are grown up enough to be bottled Barbera d'Asti. Juicy, fresh, bright and plush, this perfect pasta wine is made even better by being in a litre bottle. Chill me down slightly and enjoy with ox tail ragu.

ICARO is a small, immensely exciting project by four passionate friends. Their mission is to revitalise and reintroduce the world to the wines of Romani Castelli (Roman Castles) and they’re doing a stellar job. Farming is organic and everything from grape to bottle is done by hand.
