Whip Wines is the project of Aaron Fenwick, working with organically farmed vineyards across South Australia. His minimal-intervention approach focuses on freshness, texture and purity of fruit, producing wines that reflect the character of their individual sites.
Gamay comes from Pooks Hill in the Adelaide Hills. Very light in colour and body, the wine shows delicate red berry fruit, subtle floral notes and gentle savoury spice. Fresh acidity and soft tannins give the palate a light, uncomplicated structure, finishing dry and refreshing.
