Dorsal Wines is Devin Alexander Myers, based on the wild, old growth redwood coast of Mendocino, California. Joined now in the cellar by his partner Jenna St. George, photographer and label artist.

The winery is in Cloverdale, Sonoma County with grapes exclusively coming from organically and biodynamically dry-farmed family vineyards in the coastal valleys and ridges of Mendocino County. Nothing is added or taken away. Fining, filtration and sulphur are never employed.

Volcanic soils and high elevation. 40-year-old vineyard surrounded by fir and pine trees, black bear and mountain lion and elk country. Six months elevage.

Rosato of Grenache. Three days maceration after foot tread with pristine clusters left on the bottom. Textural, alpine cherry husk, tremendous with food, silken, dusky. Summer and autumn. A wine that will love the foliage season just as much as the arrival of summer.
