Dorsal Wines is Devin Alexander Myers, based on the wild, old growth redwood coast of Mendocino, California. Joined now in the cellar by his partner Jenna St. George, photographer and label artist.

The winery is in Cloverdale, Sonoma County with grapes exclusively coming from organically and biodynamically dry-farmed family vineyards in the coastal valleys and ridges of Mendocino County. Nothing is added or taken away. Fining, filtration and sulphur are never employed.

Red clay loam soils. True co-ferment of grapes picked on the same morning. Macerated for five days with clusters on the bottoms after de-stemming all fruit. Seven months elevage.

Deeper than Krill but remains a buoyant red for the early evening to accept the joy of the long, surprising night. Ionic and lush, blackberries in sunlight, jubilant pop.
