2021 Terrevive 'San Vincent' Lambrusco
Place: Gargallo di Carpi — Emilia-Romagna, ITA
Variety: Lambrusco Sorbara
Farming: Biodynamic
Terrevive is the biodynamic project of Gianluca Bergianti, based just outside Modena in Emilia-Romagna. Farming as a full ecosystem, Bergianti works without additions—no cultured yeasts, no adjustments and no dosage—relying instead on spontaneous fermentations and bottle refermentation to create naturally sparkling wines with energy and precision.
San Vincent is a single-varietal Lambrusco di Sorbara—arguably the most delicate and aromatic of the Lambrusco family—made in a lightly macerated, rosato style with refermentation in bottle. It's lifted, vibrant and beautifully expressive. Redcurrant, raspberry and blood orange lead, with rose petal, herbs and a subtle savoury edge. The palate is bright and finely textured, with zippy acidity, gentle fizz and a long, saline finish. Light, energetic and seriously moreish—Lambrusco at its most elegant.
