2020 Garganuda 'Madre' Soave Veneto, Italy

Garganuda is an immensely exciting project by Stefano Menti, the widely respected Veneto vigneron, and his brother-in-law, Andrea Fiorini Carbognin. Together they produce three wines: a Soave, declassified Soave, and Valpolicella. 

This is wonderfully fresh and textural garganega that has a slightly cloudy hue from no filtration or fining in the winemaking. Can be slurped relentlessly at the house party or deeply pondered over dinner.

2019 Accornero 'Campomoro' Barbera Piedmont, Italy

Ermanno Accornero leads the fifth generation at the helm of this iconic Monferrato address. Known for producing generous barbera and scintillating grignolino that can rival the perfume of their Langhe neighbours, the grapes are organically farmed over soils that have varying proportions of clay limestone throughout.

This is plush and generous barbera designed for easy-going drinking. It’s hand-harvested then rests in stainless steel for six months before bottling.  A wonderful example of easy-going and expressive Piedmont barbera.

2021 ICARO 'Schicchera' Rosato Castelli Romani, Italy

ICARO is a small, immensely exciting project by four passionate friends. Their mission is to revitalise and reintroduce the world to the wines of Romani Castelli (Roman Castles) and they’re doing a stellar job. Farming is organic and everything from grape to bottle is done by hand.
