Vignerons Schmölzer & Brown is the project of Tessa Brown and Jeremy Schmölzer, based high in the hills of Beechworth. Their Thorley vineyard sits at over 700 metres elevation, where cool conditions and thoughtful farming produce wines defined by freshness, detail and a strong sense of place.
Thorley Chardonnay is a precise, finely textured expression of high-altitude Beechworth. White peach and citrus are layered with green apple, subtle florals and gentle savoury spice. Bright acidity and a fine mineral line bring tension and energy to the palate, balanced by delicate texture and a long, composed finish.
