Domaine Ventoura, just north of Chablis in Fontenay, is a family farm turned sharp, estate-driven operation since 2014. Across 11 hectares (plus a little top-tier fruit from friends), everything is now certified organic. Old vines, wild ferments and a light touch in the cellar keep things honest. Even in the warm 2023 vintage, the wines stay true to type—salty, stony and seriously Chablis.

Grand Cru with quiet authority. Lemon oil, white peach and ripe citrus glide over crushed oyster shell, chalk and a subtle savoury, almost smoky edge. The palate is expansive yet finely etched, with layered texture, seamless acidity and a long, mineral finish. Powerful but poised—more about depth and detail than sheer weight.
