2023 Nuzzella 'Una Giornata Al Mare'

Nuzzella is a small, organic estate on the slopes of Mount Etna, founded in 2014 by Nicola Oteri and his wife Norma. Working abandoned vineyards back to life, they farm native varieties by hand and without chemicals, aiming to capture the raw energy and minerality of Etna’s volcanic soils.

‘Una Giornata Al Mare’ is a lightly macerated white built mostly from Carricante with a touch of Catarratto. Bright and gently textured, it shows citrus, ripe orchard fruit and white flowers, layered with a subtle grip and volcanic minerality. The palate is fresh but enveloping, finishing long, saline and quietly savoury—sunny, sea-sprayed and full of character.
