Dorsal Wines is Devin Alexander Myers, based on the wild, old growth redwood coast of Mendocino, California. Joined now in the cellar by his partner Jenna St. George, photographer and label artist.

The winery is in Cloverdale, Sonoma County with grapes exclusively coming from organically and biodynamically dry-farmed family vineyards in the coastal valleys and ridges of Mendocino County. Nothing is added or taken away. Fining, filtration and sulphur are never employed.

Adobe-red clay soils with rich mineral content from ancient seabeds. Just miles from the coast, on a slope drenched in wind and salt air. Six months elevage.

Five-night maceration after de-stemming with whole clusters on the bottom in steel. Watermelon and lively hearth and luminous gossamer sips. If you can let it unfurl it deepens open, into a more ponderous holiday with a beach run.
