Bindi is one of the benchmark estates of the Macedon Ranges, with Michael Dhillon producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of remarkable purity, detail and longevity. His thoughtful, site-driven approach places the vineyard firmly at the centre, with each of Bindi’s tiny blocks expressing its own distinct personality.

Block 5 is all about fragrance and fruit purity. Think rhubarb, red plum, cherry and raspberry, laced with gentle spice. The palate opens supple and soft before expanding into something more mouthfilling and textural. There's a beautiful balance here—fruit weight and fine tannin working together to deliver a seamless, long finish. Give it another seven years for deeper complexity to emerge, though it will drink gracefully well beyond that.
