La Mesma is the family estate of sisters Paola, Francesca and Anna Rosina, farming organically in the hills of Gavi in southern Piedmont. Their thoughtful approach centres on Cortese, producing wines that combine freshness and elegance with the distinctive mineral character of the region.

Vigna della Rovere Verde Riserva comes from old Cortese vines rooted in the clay-rich soils of Tassarolo. Extended ageing in concrete and bottle brings depth and complexity, with ripe apple, preserved lemon and orange zest layered with honeysuckle, chamomile and subtle flinty notes. Rich and finely textured, the palate combines concentration with vibrant acidity and a pronounced savoury mineral character. Mature and beautifully composed, the wine finishes long, saline and persistent.
