The three Rosina sisters are at the helm of La Mesma, an estate in Piedmont’s Gavi appellation. Cortese has slowly crept into fashion while timorasso, the long-planted white grape of the region, faded out. Both varieties are unique and wonderful in their own right, producing fresh and textural whites that are friendly to so much at the table.
Indi is made entirely from their limestone holdings in Monterotondo fermented with indigenous yeasts, hence the name. It is waxy, floral and lifted by generous squeeze of fresh citrus.
