2021 Tenuta San Marcello 'Indisciplinato'

Massimo Palmieri and his family left Milan for a quieter life in the rolling foothills of Marche. Obsessed with the Qveri-raised wines of Georgia, Massimo only uses Stainless Steel and Georgian Qveri to ferment and age the wines that come from his biodynamically farmed 3.7 Hectare vineyard just outside the town of Jesi. Everything is done by hand from vineyard to cellar and only a negligible amount of sulphur is added at bottling.

100% Verddichio. 65% of the wine is fermented in stainless steel whilst 35% is fermented and aged in Georgian Qveri. The wine is hyper floral, smelling of white flowers, garden herbs and un-mistakenly: jasmine tea. The skins provide firm tannic structure to the wine that frames the citrus freshness.
