Garganuda is an immensely exciting project by Stefano Menti, the widely respected Veneto vigneron, and his brother-in-law, Andrea Fiorini Carbognin. Together they produce three wines: a Soave, a Valpolicella and this curio. 

They wanted to create a wine unhindered by DOC regulation and its requirements so they took garganega grapes, wild fermented them in stainless steel, pressed them into large-format concrete for eighteen months and bottled it with only 20ppm sulphur. The result is a ‘Soave’ unlike any you have had before.
