Riesling from the Langhe? Absolutely! We all know riesling is a deeply sensitive transmitter of soil and here we have riesling that burrows its feet into pure limestone resulting in a wine of sensational texture and length. 

Cascina Corte are based in Dogliani, the spiritual homeland of dolcetto, and make fine examples of it too, but it’s their riesling that captured our attention. The nose is a little closed at first so give it some time in the glass, but the flavour, texture and length need little time to impress themselves.
