Julien Viana is one of Savoie's brightest young stars. A native to the French Alpine region, Julien organically farms 10ha with extreme care and dedication. He believes in working with nature to ensure as little as possible, if anything, is added in the winery. The village of Cruet, his birthplace, is where Julien farms his vineyards.
Mondeuse is native to the Savoie and when well-farmed and gently handled, as is the case here, it is a spice-driven, gamey and firm red that dances best with grilled proteins.
