Sangiovese

'The Blood of Jupiter' is the main grape of most of central Italy, however it is in the Tuscan regions of Chianti and Montalcino that the grape rises to great heights. 

Red fruited and with present tannin, we love it for its rusticity and demand for food beside it. 

From mid week pizza night, to sitting alongside rich protein at the weekend dinner, Sangiovese always has a place.
