Christian Tschida farms hectares of old vines in the Neusiedlersee region of Burgenland. His wild parcels are instantly recognisable being overgrown with all kinds of vegetation that preserve biodiversity in the vineyards and force the vines to bury their roots deep into the soils in search of nutrients.

Though this may sound relaxing, it requires meticulous caretaking and a thoughtful hand in the cellar. He's constantly experimenting, as such his wine are unfailingly exciting, changing expressions of time and place.
