Ex-Tonka and Coda sommelier, George McCullough, is pursuing winemaking after years on the floor. He makes his wine at Heathcote stalwart Syrahmi under the tutelage of Adam Foster.
Organically grown viognier from Toolleen was pressed firmly as whole clusters. The juice was fermented and aged in a combination of stainless steel and seasoned Stockinger puncheon. An expressive wine - Earl Grey tea, white flower potpourri and herbal inflections lead to fuzzy white peach and tangerine zest.
