Wheeler Wines is Dale Wheeler’s label based in the Yarra Valley. Originally from Brisbane Dale moved to Melbourne to study viticulture in 2012 and worked as both a grower and winemaker throughout the Valley. He now makes a small range from parcels he gravitates toward.

Sourced from the Upper Yarra Valley Willowlake vineyard in Gladysdale. MV6 Pinot noir expertly grown on grey clay-loam over red volcanic soils.

Gary Walsh summed it up perfectly ‘Poached strawberry, spice, dried rose, kind of mulchy and autumnal. Light to medium-bodied, ripe strawberry and rhubarb with a twist of blood orange, silty tannin, something of an umami/mushroom character too, and a zesty spicy finish of excellent length.’
