Wheeler Wines is Dave Wheeler’s label based in the Yarra Valley. Originally from Brisbane Dave moved to Melbourne to study viticulture in 2012 and worked as both a grower and winemaker throughout the Valley. He now makes a small range from parcels he gravitates toward.

Made from 27-year-old vines, it comprises 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It spends 18 months in old French oak then another five in steel to freshen it up. Immediately delicious but especially rewarding with time in glass.
