Daniel Sage is fast becoming an icon of the natural wine scene, making wines that wows the senses of many critics and professionals, meaning these wines have become hard to find! He has small amounts of Gamay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay and Viognier. Most come from his vineyards in the hills of the northern Rhône and he buys some grapes from his friend Jean Delobre and from other growers further south. Daniel’s takes on these well-known varietals from a seemingly well known area are extremely expressive.

Merlot – one tank 3 weeks maceration - one tank 10 months maceration. Fruit from Vincent Fargier - Villeneuve de Berg (clay, limestone, basalt)
