‘Pur Jus is just such a lovely name and concept that when the vineyard from which it first emerged was no longer available, we had to find a new home for the moniker. Hence, our Grenache Nouveau – a blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre – has been reborn as Pur Jus.

We can think of practically no other vineyard landscape that’s better positioned to give the phrase justice. Hailing from old, dry-grown, Blewitt Spring bush vines on sand, the fruit for this wine is impeccably reared for depth, balance, and varietal expression. We held back on ripening, oaking, and extraction and left the wine untouched for seven days before pressing to create Southern Rhône vibes – bright, easy, red fruit on the palate with a sprinkling of spice and lashings of purity.’
