Luke Lambert’s star has truly risen. Best known for his affection for nebbiolo, he also makes great pinot noir, chardonnay and syrah from the Yarra Valley.
This syrah comes from one of the coolest sites in the Yarra, wild-fermented with 80% whole bunches in steel, then raised in large, old, French oak for a year. Neither fined nor filtered, it is a pure and layered expression of syrah and, according to Luke, the best he feels he’s released yet.
