2019 Castelmaure 'Sansa' Rouge, Languedoc (Fra)
This blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan comes from the heart of Langudoc’s Corbieres region. It has no added sulphur and can be enjoyed chilled in the park or at home on the table alongside some serious cooking. Medium bodied with spice laden aromatic lift and textural crunch.
2021 Little Ra Ra Pet Nat No.2 - Grampians (Vic)
Whole bunch fermented Sauvignon Blanc from the Grampians. Paw paw, mango lassi, and white pepper aromas are joined on the palate by grapefruit and prominent orange. Digging deeper unearths turmeric, dried sage, and butter. Released with a healthy sediment. Chill well prior to opening.
2017 Milan Nestarec 'Youngster' Rose - Moravia (Czech)
Milan Nestarec is a forerunner among the young European natural winemakers. With his distinctive, funky natural juices he shows an excellent example of millennial wit and creativity. This is rose on the wilder side. Think watermelon, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon.
2021 Konpira Maru 'Pan Opticon' Riesling Pinot Gris - Whitlands (Vic)
A true field blend, this Riesling dominated blend was picked in the cool of night to create a laser focused wine. With all the expected citrus notes but with tropical notes and super satisfyingly persistent acid line. Literally impossible to drink a bottle in more than 20 minutes excepting some sort of epic tantric mind control.
2021 FIN Wines 'Trainwreck' Mataro - Central Victoria (Vic)
Sustainably farmed Mataro grown by Box Grove vineyard. No touchy. No pumpy. Pressed and raised in tank. A complex quaffer. Graphite minerality with dark cherry, red apple, allspice, white pepper with a splash of rose petal.
2021 Balmy Nights 'Amber' Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris - Hilltops (Nsw)
Organically farmed Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris from Hilltops, fermented on skins separately for two weeks then combined to create this juicy, fruity orange bomb. Chill it down and away you go.
