Rose, Rosato, Rosado, whatever you call it, it's pink, it's fun, it's thirst quenching on a hot summer’s day. This pack celebrates producers doing things a little different because hey, they don't all have to pale and from Provence. Chill ‘em down, drink in the park.
2020 Year Wines 'Lunch Punch' Rosato, McLaren Vale (Sa)
This makes it three from three from talented young couple from Year Wines in the McLaren Vale after the success of Noodle Juice and Sausage in Bread. Lunch Punch is their take on Rosato, fuller, more savoury style rose that, not surprisingly is best consumed en mass with lunch. Charcuterie please.
2020 Geyer Wine Co Rose, Barossa Valley (Sa)
This is anything but your classic rose. Darker and richer, could easily be a light, chillable red. It's made of Grenache and Cab Franc, it's fresh, crunchy and zingy. Oh, Dave is also one half of Yetti & The Kokonut if that floats ya boat.
2020 A.R.C Rose, Mornington Peninsula (Vic)
The wines from A.R.C go from strength to strength. This is Tempranillo, Cabernet with a splash of merlot, made in a slightly more serious way but no less fun. Its fresh and zippy. Made for picnics.
