Spring has arrived and with the change in season and that big ball of flames in the sky starting to come out more often than it did, it might mean a change in hue in our wine glass. Thanks for the warming reds winter but this pack is all about fresh, brilliant white wine, made for sunny sea sides and balmy nights!
2019 Guy Allion Sauvignon Blanc - Loire Valley (Fra)
Touraine Sauvignon Blanc is a Sancerre-like gem which offers tremendous value for money. Pure, bright Sauvignon character with a real mineral edge, the palate is full-flavoured with freshly squeezed lemon mingling with white fruit, pear and green apples ending with racy, fresh notes.
2019 GioVino Bianco Cataratto - Sicily (Ita)
GioVino is organically grown on the island of Sicily and is the perfect VINO QUOTIDIANO! That’s Italian for everyday wine! Made by in collaboration with QuelVino & Dario Serrentino of Mortellito utilising his pristine organic fruit from younger vineyards. 100% Catarratto. 2 Days skin contact. Aged in Stainless steel. Crunchy and fresh.
2018 Tenuta San Marchelo Verdicchio di Jesi Buca Classico - Marche (Ita)
This is classic Marche Verdicchio. Fresh, textural, restrained citrus and stone fruit followed by Seaspray. With every sip of this wine we are transported to Le Marche where we imagine enjoying this alongside shellfish linguini.
2018 Nicolas Reau 'Indigene' Muscadet, Loire Valley (Fra)
Biodynamically farmed, blisteringly crunchy Muscadet from one of Anjou's best natural wine makers. Get yourself some oysters or some spicy noodles and enjoy.
2021 BK Carbonic Chardonnay – Basket Range, Adelaide Hills (Sa)
This is chardonnay designed to be enjoyed fresh and young. It sees the full carbonic maceration treatment as it’s name would suggest and some mild skin contact. It is a short story about white peach and white flowers, that ends with a crisp apple candy full stop. It was fermented in concrete for 10 days before being pressed to stainless steel. A park wine if we’ve ever seen one.
2021 Jumping Juice Riesling - King Valley (Vic)
This year’s Riesling comes from a sustainably farmed vineyard in the King Valley. Aromatic, mineral, citrus, texture. A great wine to get the party started, but also very enjoyable after a few bottles too many.
