Three of our favourite expressions of the fighting pride of Australia, Shiraz!
2017 Brash Higgins Shiraz, Mclaren Vale (Sa)
To our mind, Brad 'Brash' Higgins makes some of the most exciting wines from the Mclaren Vale region. This shiraz celebrates the style of this producer, with full-bodied generosity and power framed by a freshness that keeps the wine standing up on the pallet.
Demi is the entry to the wonderful world of Syrahmi wines, full of bright fruit, graphite, red and dark fruits and savoury herbs. Lock me down with this no problem.
2016 Moonlit Forest 'Gloria' Shiraz, Yarra Valley (Vic)
Yarra valley Shiraz by Jayden Ong that, 4 years on shows some interesting development but with the tight core of fruit still showing years of unravelling ahead. just wonderful!
2018 Syrahmi 'Demi' Shiraz, Heathcote (Vic)
To Talk about Victorian Shiraz and not mention the name Adam Foster is sacrilege to the grape. As famous for being a wine LOVER as he is a winemaker, Adam makes shiraz that has it's heart in the Northern Rhone but it's feet firmly planted in Central Victoria.
