We have sold out of 2019 Poderi Del Paradiso Chianti Colli Senesi, but have replaced it with:
2018 Bibi ‘Casamatta’ Sangiovese Tuscany, Italy
"Casamatta” translates to “crazy house” and is Bibi's wink at the liveliness of his home. It's a bright, approachable Sangiovese designed to be the casamatta's tavolo rosso. Earthy, vibrant and very moreish. Perfect for midweek tortellini.
2020 Nocturne 'SR' Cabernets Margaret River, Wa
A grape that has been somewhat out of fashion is BACK, and in the hands of arguably one of the best winemakers in the country, it reaches truly great heights. A special expression of the wonderful Margaret River region.
2021 Airlie Bank Pinot Noir Yarra Valley, Vic
Made with Cru Beaujolais as an inspiration. Picked in the red fruit spectrum. Notes of Campari, red liquorice and boysenberry. On the palate, bright, fresh and bursting with juvenile charm. Unfined, Minimal filtration.
2020 Stephane Aviron Beaujolais Village Beaujolais, Fra
Each year we are blown away from the incredible value of this wine. Fruit from a 50 year old vineyard where yields have been controlled is hand picked and sent to the winery where traditional and gentle winemaking occurs. We love the jovial nature of this wine, oozing with strawberry fruit supported by a savoury steminess that gives structure and interest.
2021 Unico Zelo 'True Blue' Riverland, Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills, Sa
This is Brendan and Laura’s homage to the great Australian blends, incorporating Portuguese (Touriga Nacional) and Italian (Nero and Montepulciano) into the mix. A thoroughly medium-bodied and well-balanced blend, It’s designed to be enjoyed alongside hearty fare in equally robust company.
2021 Chalmers Nero d'Avola Heathcote, Vic
Nero calls Sicily home, but is very comfortable in the warm Australian climate. Here Chalmers have produced a vibrant and crunchy rendition of the variety. An interplay between bright red berries and a chalky graphite mouthfeel makes it quite versatile at the table, though it’s equally comfortable being enjoyed on its own.
