Three wines that are light, pretty and ooze an easy going nature that makes them approachable in any setting.
NV Little Reddie 'Bootleg' Nebbiolo, Heathcote (Vic)
Multi vintage Nebbiolo made by Pat from Little Reddie that doesn't quite live up to his Willoughby Road label. Light to medium bodied, juicy, refreshing mid week quaffer. The ultimate bang for buck!
2020 Vino da Tavolo Rosso, Central Victoria (Vic)
As the name suggests, this is wine for the table, especially if that table has a red and white checkered tablecloth underneath some pizza and red sauced pasta. Mainly Aglianico, with a touch of Pavana this year, it is medium bodied, juicy and built for food that shares the same Southern Italian heritage of the grape it was made from. Allora!
NV La Buvette, Grenache/Carignan, Languedoc (Fra)
Made up of 60% Grenache and 40% Carignan, this is a 750ml liquid flight to Paris where you can imagine drinking this in volume, slightly chilled, washing down some bistro favourites at the local corner spot. Simply delightful.
